He believes that much like an Olympic athlete who needs professional guidance to achieve their objectives, that his clients view Bob in much the same way.

His investment approach has stood the test of time, but at the end of the day what matters the most to Bob, is not how much money he makes for his clients, but what they do with the money they have. His client service approach concentrates on helping his clients develop passions and merging their money with those passions for a life well lived.

Clients have counted on Bob’s experience to bring them through some of the toughest market conditions in history. In addition, Bob has weathered most of life’s important transitions and the financial challenges these can bring. He is his clients CFO, mentor and “Psychologist”.

He has experienced over the past 28 years how the financial industry has failed to garner the trust of many Canadians due to the blunders of a few. Thus Bob has always and will always do what is best for his clients. To do this honestly, Bob provides his clients with a full range of non in-house product offerings from blue chip stocks to exchange traded funds and mutual funds and bonds.

Bob has acquired the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging and is a Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist. He has a full Securities licence; level two insurance licences, Professional financial planning course and is currently authoring a financial book for release in early 2016.

Accomplishments include receiving the prestigious Dalbar Financial Professional Seal for service excellence, the elite designation for total advisor excellence and multiple other awards over the years, too numerous to mention.

Bob enjoys reading, writing, stock market research and first and foremost his family and his grand-children. He also provides free financial planning for handicapped veterans.

Vanessa Roby

Client Services Manager

Being the youngest on the team, Vanessa brings a youthful vitality and a willingness to take charge and take ownership of her responsibilities. Her responsibilities include most facets of client service including answering client inquiries, preparing client documentation, facilitating client administrative concerns and preparing portfolio reviews.

In Vanessa’s previous life, she excelled in ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical. Over the years, she won many awards and titles, and had the experience of dancing in China, Boston, New York City, Florida, Toronto, Brantford and Montreal. Vanessa enjoys yoga, exercising, cooking healthy foods and cuddling with her cat, Myla.

Diane Roby

Having worked for many years in the Federal government (perhaps too long), Diane was responsible for working closely with various Ministers, providing critical support to insure their offices were operating smoothly.

Diane brings a wealth of experience on many levels and she looks forward to focusing her efforts on the Total Client Experience. This involves partnering with our clients to ensure that all levels of communication from newsletters, workshops, special client events, quarterly calls and much more are running smoothly.

Diane is also responsible for clients’ events, coordinating and arranging client meetings and providing feedback from clients by undertaking satisfaction surveys annually.

In her other life, Diane enjoys designing, travelling and of course having fun with her two grandchildren, Cameron and Mia.

Supporting the communities within which we work

At IPC, we built IPC Cares to bring together the various efforts we make towards enhancing the communities within which we operate. By adopting causes that are close to our hearts, we keep ourselves committed and accountable.

Last year alone, as a company, we supported the aid efforts on the Fort McMurray fires, palliative care through The Healing Cycle Foundation and women and children through The Salvation Army.

Perhaps the most significant effort we undertake, and one that we believe is representative of the kind of work that inspires and keeps us committed to our CSR efforts, is the community development project in Honduras with The Carpenteros & Friends. Last year’s project involved a group of IPC staff and Advisors volunteering their time and energy on the ground. Very little is as inspiring and rewarding as living the lives of the people you’re helping, and every one of the people who took the journey came back a changed person, even more determined to stay committed to making a difference in the world!

We also made countless small but significant contributions of our time and resources within our communities through many grassroots charities we believe in, and the ripple effect of their efforts are always rewarding.
